Default Progress Report! Off the saw & on to the shaper!

I will be able to set up to run the front and rear spines tomorrow! Shouldn't be to bad, as I have new tooling for both these operations! Cocobolo cuts like glass, pretty neat stuff,.........till...later...G.T.

G.T., there are those among us who are waiting with baited breath (and that is much better than no breath at all). Can't wait to get my hands on some cocobolo magazine bottoms...mmmm, mmmmm, good! What is your estimated time of completion?

Hi Bill! If things continue to go as they are (and I don't run out of beer! still hot here!!!)....I should have some ready by the middle of next week!.....I am to the point where it is just one operation after another X 100!

I can't get lazy as I can ruin the whole bunch with just one afternoon of indiscretion!! Your's will be amoung the first ones out! I am looking forward to it as much as you, as there are a bunch of exciting new luger projects, just waiting to be tackled!!! till...later...G.T.

Hi Tom! You sure got that right! I work on them in small increments of time.....when the sweat starts pouring off me, I stop for awhile and get out of the heat....a drop of sweat on an unfinished mag. bottom makes the grain stand up so bad, it is almost unsalvageable!! Some day, when my ship comes in, (I think it did once, but someone else unloaded it!) I will air condition my garage....or build a small shop, a shop filled with woodworking equipment & Luger stuff! That would be about the top of the mountain for me!!! till....later....G.T.
