Lugers in Movies/TLSS latest
Watched "Hornets Nest" with the late Rock Hudson
Had a couple of great Luger firing scenes, though the report sounded weak. Lots of MP-40 Machine pistol firing. A couple of good fire fights. The German officer that played a costarring role had a distinction Italian accent which was anoying. All in all, I liked it very much. 8.0 out of 10. Finished Tom Armstrong's 1915 DWM Police (fited with a sear safety in the Weimar Era) Email me at Thor340@aol.com if you would like a to see a couple of Pictures. I am trying to get my shop revamped so I can produce more of those lovely looking reworks that have become so popular. 27 Lugers in waiting along with 5 other type pistols. Thanks for the work! ~Thor~ |

Re: Lugers in Movies/TLSS latest
While channel surfing I tuned into the middle of the original version of "Day of the Jackal" (1974) and there was a quick series of bank robberies taking place to finance a political assassination. An armored truck was being pulled over by two cars full of crooks, one of them jumped out and brandished a Luger. Waved it around a few times and stuck it back in his belt. Quick fairly long distance scene. Not worth renting the movie.
