Does your K98 rear sight use two of these, in an opposed position??? That is, one button on each side??? That both need to be pressed together???

Proper English would be “Thank you for your response.”

Don’t worry about it too much though, most English speakers are not too concerned about it being written or spoken perfectly if it is not your primary language. After all, English is the bastard child of two polar opposite language trees that somehow merged together then became the world’s Lingua Franca out of spite. (With help from a British Superiority complex.)

Yes, they can. I've used them on my fantasy artillery pistols. I see one on eBay right now -

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Mauser-1932...R/263894318502

The entire sight can be used.

The Mauser sights I found were "FN M24/30 Mauser carbine rear sight" but I've seen them described several ways..

Interesting comment, why don't you start a new thread in the "off topic" area and explain it. I'm curious.

Perhaps down the line. After finishing up one 25 pager, another 30 page seminar paper, and a 10 page project proposal over the last 2 weeks I’m a little worn out on writing too many research essays for the next month and a half or so of break. I’m just ready to celebrate the holidays with my family with a healthy amount of fluids for awhile

Id be happy to give a skinny on it if you’d like.

M/62: Do your best and that’s all anyone can reasonably ask of you. Best of luck getting the parts you need shipped and installed for your C-96. Be sure to keep us updated on everything!

Here's a pic of the Mauser/FN carbine sight mounted on a Luger barrel. There is a guy on eBay selling new sights, in the white. I've bought 3 or 4 of them. They come complete with barrel band, spring, and complete sight assembly, for about $30USD.
