Default Newbee question regarding posting pictures

I have a Luger and accessories that I recently inherited, and I am interested in getting some feedback on it from forum readers. I have a number of pictures ready to upload, but I wanted to ask first what the best place/approach to presenting my pictures is. I am brand new to this forum, so I don't want to start off by doing something disruptive. Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

Julian, welcome to the forum!

What questions do you have? There is a size limit, there is not a limit to how many. I suggest they be no larger than 12 inches across to fit most screens and the forum, and under 200 kilobytes. First, take picture using high resolution, then crop to what you want, then resize to slightly smaller. I suggest 2-6 pictures of each item. I would either make a new posting if they are not like items, or place them into a new reply, that way you can say, 1917 Erfurt, and holster, show pictures, then a seperate thread and say 1942 Krieghoff and flag from iwo jima...

New Collectors area is best for a new collector, then after you start to know the drill, the appropriate section, i.e. military, commerical, etc.

Ed

I'm still not much of an expert on fishing in AK. I did a bit of salmon fishing on Prince William Sound this summer, but I still haven't even visited SE AK since moving to Anchorage two years ago. Many people seem to enjoy rod and reel fishing on the Russian River on the Kenai Penensula--mostly for Red Salmon I believe.
