I'm trying to understand the firing process of the Luger so I can "fix" it. Inside the sideplate, there is a lever. This lever has a "finger" that rests inside the trigger. When the trigger is pulled, the lever goes downward and the upper part of the level pushes against (here's the question): the pin on the sear?
Why is the pin spring loaded? What's going on? I need to adjust the lever so it causes the sear to function, but am frustrated. What am I doing wrong? |
