How much is too much to pay for a shooter? I recently came across a code 42 with an artillery barrel attached. The front sight ramp has been ground off. Who knows why? The grips are home made clear plexi. The pistol has been reblued but is matching, including mag. The piece is mechanically sound. I know that the rear sight is worth quite a bit by itself. Sorry, no pics available, but I would like to know what others would consider paying for such a shooter/parts gun.

Sometimes it is easier if YOU tell us what they are asking and we tell you too high or grab it?
How much is depending on how bad you want it, it is a total mismatch shooter, but with an artillery barrel, that brings the price up to many people. A normal shooter Luger, $350 - $550? Add another 100 or 2 for an artillery barrel and sight? Really depends on if you want it. Ed

The seller is asking $450.00 plus tax, so make that about $480.00.

Packet, It doesn't sound like a bad deal for a shooter as Artillery's are such fun to shoot and they can legally have a stock which is really fun! I don't think you can go wrong...You better get it before someone else does.Jerry Burney

For a shooter price Packet, not bad, if I was in the market, and wanted to be tempted, I would go back to that gun shop,

Please keep in mind that a shoulder stock is legal only if the FRAME was originally an artillery. 10 years in prison would be a long time.
