Default 1940 Code 42 Toggle

Hello. I have a Code 42 Toggle, 1940 with what I believe is an arsenal mark on the barrel. If so, is this just for the barrel or for the whole gun? Also, how would it affect the value?

John,
I also have a 1940-42 with an asterisk on the barrel. Some people believe the asterisk stamp means the barrel was originally rejected until it was brought up to specs. It has no affect on the value of your gun.
