Default Odd Mag Bottom "PIC"

This came with an Erfurt 1912/1920 P-08 I bought this week. The mag is a Schmiesser with a starburst and a K under the Starburst. The base is wood with what looks like a brass reinforcement plate. Any info would be great Thanks Dean

The mag is a Schmiesser with a starburst and a K under the Starburst...On the tube? If so the mag bottom is a Bubba job.

Gerald Tomek can probably help you with restoring your nice magazine body to it's previous glory.

It almost looks like someone intended it for a presentation Luger, where something was to be engraved on the mag bottom. It is nicely done.

Is it just me, why do posters not read return posts or bother to answer questions? Seems to me the least a poster who wants help could do is put as much effort into it as the people trying to help..

many times I check (if they are a new poster) and ensure that it is checkmarked that they receive a reply, so they get sent a notice of people commenting.

I assume that folks new, may not remember where they posted.

I also have to wonder if many folks are so used to lurking that after posting their question, they feel no need to reply. Which, I find very rude and makes me hesitant in answering new folks....
