Default Benelli B76 articles

I recently acquired one of these in great shape, and now want to get more information. I'm interested to read a couple of old articles about them, but cannot seem to locate. I would greatly appreciate if anyone can point me in the right direction. They are:

"Benelli's B76" by Donald M. Simmons in 1984 Gun Digest
&
"Requiem for the Benelli Pistol Family" by Donald MacLaren,1990 Guns Illustrated

Here she is, just about the sleekest, most modern-artsy pistol I have ever held...

There are some great videos up on these obscure pistols if anyone is interested:

Default Congrats!

I have had a B-76 for some years now and its my all time favorite pistol to shoot, Extremely accurate! The take down is a bit weird but not too bad.
Is yours import marked? Mine is not...not sure how it got here without it.
I have some info on mine...I will check and see what I have. Maybe I can make copies and send it to you.

Hi Tom,

Mine is import marked Siles NY. I read somewhere about some rather beat up surplus examples in 9mm Ultra making it into the country without the import markings.

I would love to get copies of any literature you have!

The explanation given by Benelli was that is was possibly brought back by military or diplomatic personnel...who knows? When I bought mine in the Tampa area, the dealer had two of them in his case. I was able to purchase a spare mag when I bought it.
I do not mind sending you my copies to you to make your own. I do not have access to a copier or I would do it for you. I just ask that you return them. I will PM my address to you.
Tom

I would like to have one in 7.65mm Luger, looked at one at a gunshow a few years ago and went back to get it and it was gone. It was NIB.
