Default 1906 Navy Commercial

I have a 1906 Navy Commercial and IĆ¢??m looking at the serial numbers. Should the firing pin and the hold open have the serial number on them?

Tracy, All Navys of this period were numbered in the commerical style, with out numbers on HO or Firing pin. For your Navy to be a true commerical vise military, it should have a five digit serial number. Tom h.
