I just created a new classified add for my 1902 Fat Barrel. It has been in my family for 4 generations. Anybody who might be interested in this rare luger should check it out. I have better pictures I can email if interested.

What a pity Bob that it can't continue to be passed on to heirs in your family! Thor

Well, if it doesn't sell, it will contiune to be passed on. Besides, I have a rather large collection, so future generations of mine will not be left lacking!

Bob: I caught your ad on the Fat BBl. and I have checked out the pictures on the forum. You mentioned you could email some better pictures that I would appreciate. I am interested so any addition info would be appreciated. Serial & suffix? Any markings/proofs I could research on receiver, frame and or bbl? Let me know hope this isn't to much trouble. Thank you SAM Buscemi

The 1902 Fat Barrel did not have a letter suffix on the serial number. The earliest '02 AE that I have record of is 22131 and the latest is 23362. Mixed in with the serial numbers are '02 Commercials (no AE) and the block of Cartridge Counters.

The serial # is within the range you listed at #227**. BTW, its sold, pending funds. I also have a Swiss Bern, 100% mint, that I may sell next.
