Default Info needed

I have read of the references to "hard shell" and "soft shell" hosters. How do I tell which is which. Most hosters feel stiff, but I do not know if this is hard or soft type.
Any information will be greatly appreciated.

I beleive this refers to P38's, they made a hard shell (literally hard) and a soft shell holster.

I believe the only soft shell luger holsters are ones that have lsot their ability to stay hard.

The * classic* Luger soft shell is the MARS 1915 for the LP-08.
