This morning I received a wonderful note from a fellow collector in Germany asking me if I could post his pictures to the Forum and add his byf 42 to the Lugerforum gallery. Since his note - I added Markus' 42 byf to the Lugerforum Gallery and I would like to take a moment to welcome Markus to the Lugerforum! His e-mail and Luger's description is:
I´m Markus from Germany and I´ve a very nice Luger from Mauser 1942! I want to become a member in your Owners´ Corner and want to show my great Luger......Unfortunately there are holes in the Barrel, thatâ??s because of the German weapon-laws...I hope you will contact me, and my Luger is good enough, it would be a pleasure for me to see my Luger under yours... Markus (registered as Morpheus on the forum today) - Welcome to the LugerForum..!!! Here is your gallery for your byf (Mauser): http://gallery.lugerforum.com/lugergallery/markus With Best Regards Always - and Welcome to the LugerForum! John D. |

Hi,
Well, it depends on the territory. Barrel needs to be 'deactivated' in Germany, parts need to be welded shut in Belgium. And pistols need to be sliced in two lengthwise over here in the Netherlands!!! People who have gun permits can keep 'em in one piece, though ![]() |
