Post 1915 Spandau Holster....

now on auction :

http://www.auctionarms.com/search/di...temnum=5455588

Seller provides pretty good, detailed photos. Wonder what would cause such damage to the tool pouch while the remainder of the holster appears to be in pretty good shape...?...usually I see the opposite...

Regards,

Pete... <img border="0" alt="[typing]" title="" src="graemlins/yltype.gif" />

Pete, This looks like a bad substance got to it, water or chemicals. I bet it's brittle. Jerry Burney

Hello Jerry,

While I have you looking at this holster, take a look at the photo that shows the top of the holster flap.

There appears to be a faint "ghost" outline of the shape of the tool pouch which is just offset from the real stitching lines of the actual pouch...Any ideas...???

Regards,

Pete... <img border="0" alt="[typing]" title="" src="graemlins/yltype.gif" />

Pete, Yes, I noticed this too...You will also notice tha lower left corner is ghosted. I believe he either moved the holster or the camera while taking the photo. I don't think it's anything serious.Of course, I've been known to be wrong on occasion. Jerry Burney
