Sending topic URL to non-members
I have been referred to a topic on Jan Still's forum that sounds very much like mine. I would like to send that author a link to my topic to introduce myself and illustrate our common interests. I have joined that forum but don't see any way I can post the URL for my LugerForum topic onto that site. Is this possible?

Yes, anything is possible, Actually, what you do is highlight and right click on an area and then you can Copy the url and then paste it on the forum.
Both forums require membership. Although it is better to post the same type of thing onto that forum, rather than just show a link. No offense but it can seem a bit rude to Jan to show him a link to ask him a question Ed

Hey Don.!
It should be fine..??? When you open your topic here - "copy" that URL.... When you post to Jan's Forum - simply "Paste" that URL in your reply.... HOWEVER... Both Forums try to assist collectors - and for that, you may want to re-copy your original post there, as not all folks are Members of both Forums. As well, when I get asked to reply to a post on Jan's Forum, I do that there (like Peter's HK Mag question). Hope this helps..! John |

Well.....
I guess it doesn't matter what either you or I said, as long as Don understands what you said, and then, that I then said, and that I said that you said - which you said I said, but you said first - which I said you said.. See? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" /> |

That's what I like about this site...clear, concise responses. I think I've got the message(s). Don
