Guys,
I picked this up from a widow of a WWII vet with a 1934 Mauser "captured" from a German officer. (no papers, no military markings, with the holster, a commercial one.... the grips were chipped and the gun is in nice condition but a POS.... got it at a good price with the ring Never mind the story..... check out the ring.) I know the SS never had official rings but I think this item is a custom job for some SS guy. It is small for my finger size 10 1/2. The ring has been cut and repaired and resized. Wadda ya think? I collect belt buckles and the death head is silver soldered onto the ring. http://www.p38guns.com/DSCN2475.JPG http://www.p38guns.com/DSCN2476.JPG http://www.p38guns.com/DSCN2478.JPG http://www.p38guns.com/DSCN2482.JPG Mark |

Hi Mark,
You may find that you will get more interest if you post your ring here: http://www.germandaggers.com/germanuniforms.htm This forum has a section specifically for Honour Rings. Cheers, John |
