Post Stork on it's WAY!!!!! Baby arrives FRIDAY!!

To Rio Rancho! I feel like an expect father!! I UNDERSTAND Thor's baby is arriving via air stork from the Hugh FACTORY!! WHO IS NEXT?? I think mine was #3. It still needs a German Eagle engraved on the chamber, gold inlay, grips laser engraved with same eagle, checker grips, full rust blue and straw parts. Still all in all, much ground has been covered todate. I also have the classy case (crib)for it to rest it and the superb holster (baby carriage) for it to travel in awaiting the baby. "Mr Thor.....it's a BABY..........LUGER!!!!""" Three cheers for Hugh! HIP HIP Houray!! AW the heck with it! I need a drink! YIPPPPPPEEEEEEE!!!!! Gonna get a script HC engraved on the rear toggle!

So just how long is the gestation period for a Baby Luger Hugh? (leaving out all the armadillo hunting trips and Texas floods)

YipPPPPPPPEEEEEEEE---YAHOOOOOOOEEEEEYYYYYY!!!
Well.......a long wait, but darn well worth it!!
UPS Driver becomes a doctor in Thor's blurry sight, "Mr Thor....It's a baby......LUGER!!!!!"
Compliments of the magic of Hugh Clark,Complete with toggle knobs cut flush with receiver top, 3" barrel, butt has been shortened, with two shorter mags and nice walnut smooth Nill-Griffe grips, Accurate (last three shots that HC made were in the SAME HOLE at 25 yds. This one has the lanyard loop removed and no stock lug! After some oxygen finally reached by brain it was off to give Hugh a call to let him know delivery had occured!! Perfect fit in Burney Buckskin Hardshell Holster, superb in the Center Custom Reichadler case. Now after I go shoot it, its back to the Thor bench for a little touch up, then off to get the German Eagle Engraved on the chamber and Left side panel. The grips go to a Laser engraver for German Eagles to be put on, then back to Hugh for final checkering and finish. This beauty will be rust blued with strawed and fire blued parts and then gold inlay into the two Eagles and the script "hc" that will be added to the rear toggle length, much like Georg added his "gl" to early and special DWM Lugers. What a thrill, I am on cloud nine! Hugh and I agreed, no pictures until she is finished and ready to be unveiled! I have a big adrenaline rush right now! Doug and Frank, get ready, your next! The 3" barrel is perfect length to me for these babys! I LOVE EM!!!

Ted, I wish I were there so you could give me a cigar! I am very happy to hear that the pistol fit into the holster. That was somewhat of a crapshoot. Maybe you could sneak me a photo of the pistol in the holster? Thanks for the good news! Jerry Burney

John,

In answer to your question; about 30 months! That was just for Ted however, I hope to reduce the time somewhat for next ones.
