Post Try this next time out

Ivan is finally slowing down or going away, still pouring rain but I still have power and no trees on the house yet, am a lot better off than lots of folks. Lst week I went shooting with several friends, made it a pistol occasion, there were five of us, when I went down to hang targets I drew a smiley face on the reverse side of the targets and hung them up, it was about 5" in diameter, I was just being stupid. There were nine targets side by side, we started a game where you had three shots to hit the face. If you didn't hit him you couldn't move to the next target. If you hit him with the first or second shot you could have the left over shots your next time around. We were shooting at about 20 yards so this was not easy for macho men of our "age group". Guns used were a P1, a Colt .357, a Kimber .45, a Radom, and a Ruger .22 six shooter. I got ahead with the Radom, then Bill caught me with the Colt. Donnie and the P1, well, not too good. Cole did ok with the .45 but couldn't hit # five. Finally I had one to go and four shots to do it with next time I was up. But Ken came up with the .22, hit four in a row and won. Then Bill hit three with the Colt. I came in 3rd. Next time I'll bring my Luger. We are going to also do it with rifles at 200 yds. (I got a DSA FAL with a 14x scope)
