Thor,
Those Pictures of the 2005 Gun of the Year are just awesome! It's hard to imagine that I had anything to do with it.

I am truly humbled to have my work in the midst of such craftsmen. It is also wonderful to see how well represented the Luger Forum is on this project.

I wonder if the new owner will shoot it? That was a fun one to work on. Thanks especially to Brian Powley and Neil Keller who are both so easy to work for. It was fun and a new experience to work on a Luger that was gold inlayed!

If I win it, I assure you it will be shot! It's just too nice not to be fired from time to time.

Thor, Thanks for posting the pics, this is an outstanding piece. I have a letter already made out and addressed to Jim Stroh asking to buy a ticket, do you know who the check should be made out to? I assume "American Handgunner" but I am not sure.

Thanks,
Bob M.

Checks for the 2005 Baby Luger raffle gun can be made out to the American Pistolsmith Guild or for those without a lot of ink in their pens APG will do.

Thanks again to Brian, Hugh, GT, Les and Ted for their evpertise on this project.

BTW, Dok! Unbelievable quality! I remember long ago ... in a far away place ... when # 1 became #1, and, you started on number 2!!! (little inside humor!) Great job Les... it is on par with the best, and a great compliment, to all the rest! Best to all, til...lat'r...GT <img border="0" alt="[jumper]" title="" src="graemlins/jumper.gif" />

Default American Handgunner

I think this is the issue that the raffle Luger will be in.

I dont know if they are doing mutiple picture layout or a one picture photo like most of their raffles. The gun is different left, right and top, plus that nice case that Dok made. I dont know when the issue will be out. Perhaps Hub can tell us.

Default APG Luger

John, the response has been overwhelming! They have sold over half the tickets already and it hasnt even hit all the stands and bookstores yet. I cant find a copy here yet, but I am hopeful. I feel fortunate to have helped a bit with this gun. Everyone on the team did great work! I only wish we had a matching hardshell holster to go with it.

FYI, for any of the forum members that may want but have not purchased a ticket yet for the 2005 Luger raffle gun they are about all gone. I believe the count is down to the last 150 tickets. Thanks for your support of this project.
