Talking Artillery luger web site updated...

Hello friends,
I have updated my web site with new pictures and sections. In particular, there is a new section focused on the Mauser Parabellum production.
Please have a look. Any suggestion is appreciated.
Thank you
Ciao
Mauro

Hi Mauro,

Been there, and bravo - very interesting for any real LP08 fan!
BTW, I have a copy of your book, and as I promised you a few month ago, I started to really 'read' it. First I paged trough looking at the very nice and original photographs - with the English comments underneath. I now arrived at the difficult part of the job.

Left I have the book of Bobba (Swiss Parabellum, Italian and corresponding English on every page), and your book is at right. A notepad and a pencil in the middle. Quite a job, but thanks to my knowledge of French and Spanish I make progress in understanding Italian rather quickly.

I am now at the very informative part, where you explain how the 'Sturmtruppen' were established in 1915, and how the LP08 was distributed to these units, helping them to have long range fire-power when attacking the opposite trenches.
(Page 32-38).

This is for me like enjoying a good wine; little sips, great pleasure, and a whole bottle to finish in front of me.

As soon as I have reached page 111, I will post my final findings here.

Best regards,

Hello Joop,
I am very happy when I have the feedback from interested readers like you. Only with the feedback of the â??usersâ?, it is possible to improve a product. The same for a book: comments, tips, corrections are very important to increase the quality.
Thank you so much.
I am looking forward to reading your comments and suggestions.
Ciao
Mauro

Pete, it would be better to post your own thread, but overall let me just say WELCOME!!

Posting pictures is easy, well for me it is, others find it challenging. You are welcome to e-mail pictures to me and I'll post them for you.

To post your own thread, you choose NEW TOPIC and then it will make a new "thread" for you.
