Default Swiss Luger

David's Swiss has me puzzled, this gun sure looks original but I cant find it in any books. Does anyone have "Bobba, Vittorio Parabellum, A Technical History of Swiss Lugers" and could assist in looking to see if this rare variation is documented. It is a beauty! Ted

More later, but Ralph Shattuck says it was a "Salesman Sample" and has the Swiss Cross in sunburst ON THE FRONT TOGGLE LINK" Grip Safety, no safety marking at all. 4 & 3/4" 30 Luger. I will get some pics this afternoon! Ted

BTW, thanks!

Don't be embarrased about the cost of the book! Mine is new in the slipcase too and as I recall I paid at least $125 for it. Books such as this one, aside from their intrinsic beauty; become investments in themselves. With a limited audience and limited demand; once printed and sold they are gone with reprints unlikely.

I looked through my copy for a gun with the cross and sunburst on the front toggle link and did not find any.
