There's a nice looking 1942 Police Banner in the gallery section. How do you find out who posted the pictures. I have a question. It has matching magazines, but there's no serial number suffix. Anyone know why? Jan Still's book "Third Reich Lugers" shows a 1940 with the suffix and a 1942 witout.

i would also like to know who the owner is. I have a 1942 Mauser Banner Police sn # 3672 y. Exactly 8 guns away! Mine is a complete rig with two matching mags and the 1942 dated Police holster. If the owner reads this contact me. <img border="0" alt="[typing]" title="" src="graemlins/yltype.gif" />

Tracy, I was told that most Police Magazines do not have a suffix, although some were stamped by the factory, but the majority do not have that suffix stamping.
Very interesting to see the close ups, as I have 2344Y, with matching magazine and matching numbered holster, but the gun is in horrible pitted shape and I can almost make out some markings and now can see they are the markings on the right.
