Default Cleaning up WW1 footage

This could be interesting. Part of me wants to scream "Sacrilege!", but part of me is curious:

I, for one, really like the concept. I also have spent a considerable amount of time attempting to restore life to old photos.

Its hard to clean them up - I have had good luck with lighter images in making them darker - and taking out slight scratches, etc
