Default Display stand ?

Gentlemen ,

Where would I get a display stand for my luger P08 ?

I like the ones where the barrel is pointed up at 45 degrees .

I've been making my own... You can buy solid oak and other hardwoods at Lowes and Home Depot.

If you don't want to make one; I see them on ebay quite frequently.

Mr Evans seems to be a ready source; also they are on E-bay pretty regularly and from others on the forums.

Default High end stand

Hi John, I have made some stands that are very high end, strong, and look correct with a Luger on them, as they are made using a Luger mag (MEC-GAR) and a modified magazine bottom.... They are spendy, but very nice in every respect?... you should be able to do a search on this forum for GT display stands and see if it fits the bill.... contact me at: gctomeks@msn.com maybe a member would be nice enough to post a picture of one, as several dozen were sold, but it has been some time ago... best to you, til...lat'r....GT

Those are the right photos (mine) and show the excellent machined aluminum and MEC-GAR fixture made by GT (I made the wood base ).
Ron

P.S. I prefer the horizontal positioning of the pistol, but GT also makes the fixture with the 55-degree upward pointing position.

The wooden stands with a single screw are not particularly sturdy; read that- easy to break.
No need to ask "why I know".

Hi John,
I make my own too, check out my avatar! I have also made single stands and book-ends. It's somewhat time consuming but very rewarding.
Regards, Norm

Default multiple luger stands

I have several 15 luger display stands made of walnut. They
were made by a local wood crafter here in Oregon.

I wish that I owned enough P08 Lugers to need a display stand that would accommodate 15 Lugers.....
