Default Collection for sale update

As I hope everyone knows by now - Ed Tinker was kind enough to list my collection that I am trying to sell. I have had overwhelming response and I want to thank everyone for that. In 2 days I have received almost 100 inquires and to be honest it is very exhausting and I expect more. So everyone knows I will attempt to answer your questions only on weekends one at a time. I work and have a business which consumes about 60 hours a week and at times weekends are full with travel for work not leaving much time for play. Each question takes an extraordinary amount of time for each item due to the fact none of my guns are cataloged and every piece must be looked up in my records and my acquisition/disposition book which has over 1000 entries and looking for each item takes time. So I ask if you would please be patient and I will get to each and every question in due time. I am keeping every email that comes in in a separate file and will address each individually. I am addressing my emails - I will not be answering questions from this forum - if you have sent a question on this forum (I find answering questions on this forum format too difficult)- you will eventually will get an answer if you resend it to my email. Thank you for all your support. So everyone knows - I have no luger shooters.

The easiest way to sell nice and high value C&R is doing a few private gun show sessions. Local collectors could absorb most of them. ... but my collection was much smaller, about 1/4 size from volume.... there are more people collecting Lugers, probably work in the same way.

Everyone would like to have gun in hand and preform a complete disassembly before a purchase. In this case (even though a known member of long standing) to buy without even a photo is asking a lot. Would the seller buy a gun under these conditions?

As Sam is well known, I doubt there would be a problem, so long as everyone acts like an adult. If you make a purchase, talk to Sam first about expectations in case of any misunderstanding. That is what I would do.
