Hello.
Can anyone recommend a modern beltholster for the 4" barrel luger? For the shooting range. The maker and the model. Thanks. |

Holsters are an item that usually reflects personal preference.
I prefer flap holsters, which are near impossible to find. But I have found that a holster for a 1911 will fit a luger pretty well. My suggestion is to go to your local shop or show and see what is there. There likely won't be a model to fit you luger(not a big seller). Then buy or order one. A cheap universal nylon holster will suffice, all the way to a custom made leather holster- But I would invest in a lined model.

On the Jan Still forum I asked a similar question, as I wanted a holster for hiking.

El Paso Saddlery makes an authentic flap holster for the Luger (based on the US Test Trial Luger holster design) http://www.epsaddlery.com/pc-105-14-1900-holster.aspx
Originally intended for the Model 1900, it works just as well for other models and can be ordered from EPS in various barrel lengths and with or without lining. A bit on the expensive side but excellent quality...should last for as long as you need it. ![]()
