I have never done business with them.

It's unusual for us to criticize individual dealers here, even the most creative ones.

My personal favorite dealers include:

Simpson's Ltd in Galesburg, Il
CheckpointCharlies.com
legacy-collectibles.com

There are others too...

What are you lookng for specifically?

It all depends upon the individual item

I've never dealt with them. Nor had any contact with them.
But it would appear that they are extremely proud of their inventory, placing it well out of reach for most of us. They seem to want to cater to the rather well-heeled.
I will say that their photography and "research" is very detailed and easy to look at, however they are not without theri critics...
Personally I would check elsewhere, like Simpsons, Ltd. They seem to be honest, are very well stocked, and while priced at the retail level, they are not unreasonable.
Just my $.02
If you care to, post a link to the specific listing and these guys will give their honest evaluation. I don't believe that there will be any axe-grinding.

I have bought one fairly rare Simson from them, pretty sure it had been prettied up, not sure by who, but I knew it when I bought it. Have dealt with the company on several other occasions and was treated fairly.

What I suggest you do is read through the forums, do searches on company names like Marc stated and of course be educated on what you are buying. Knowledge is everything. Buy books before guns.

Don't buy pretty unless you know what you're buying - that said, I have seen 100+ year old lugers that were really - really nice and own a couple that look almost new.

A lot of their "write up" in their ad/description usually has nothing to do the the luger at hand, just fluff and nice pictures.

I'd be very careful and post any real interest here before buying- but that is true of any seller or auction.

Never dealt with them, either.

Nice web site, interesting and expensive Lugers in thoughtful displays.

Go in person, particularly if you are considering buying anything there.
