Ed,
how many examples of each do you want? It is easy enough - going forward- to add side plate pictures when doing photography of a new pistol, or an old one when doing more. Also of "spare" side plates. I have a couple Erfurt spares, not numbered, one in the white, I'll photo and add . Or should we send them to you? Just an oservation, but some of your trial pictures are too dark to show much detail.

Ed,
I think this is a great idea but in my opinion you need larger images (at least as large as the actual side plate). I also think you should include supplemental information on interior markings. KFS |

Hey Ed, can't you show them side/side on opposite pages? That would allow you to make the images larger wouldn't it?

Ed,
here are the pictures from the 1918/20 Erfurt. Notice the "Y" on the tab and corresponding "Y' on the frame where the side plate covers it. Eric, I see an "S" on your Erfurt side plate, is there an "S" on your frame- you can see it with the side plate removed. The "Y" is a little faint, but just to the rear of the trigger pivot.

thanks
the primary purpose for me is to quickly look at each part - what would be fascinating is to have each part and do like I did with suffixes years ago, show 2-3 of each companies part. YOU would compare Don, got the erfurt, bottom is fuzzy - I am unsure how many angles are good anyway, for sure full front straight on and full rear are best. Other angles might be hard to duplicate.
