Default Memorial day 2016

The celebration of the "Memorial Day" could be represented by a picture by Robert Capa, who went ashore among the first at landings on Omaha Beach.
Only 11 of those pictures survived because of a photo lab accident, this is one of them.

Respect for the people who died to leave us a better World.

I always thought there was a big collection of film shot on D-day, but in returning it to the boat and back to England the duffle bag fell overboard and it was all lost but a few shots.
