Default Price Check: Magazines and Grips

Hello all!
A friend of mine is helping a gentleman liquidate some of his collection so his wife won't have to. In a bucket was two magazines and a pair of grips. I am new to Lugers but am a proud owner thanks to Mr. Lyon.

I would like to find out what they have and possibly help them find new homes at fair prices. I was going to buy them for a ridiculous price but now am finding what they may be worth, decided to help find them a fair price.

The last item is a grip. I have no clue here.

Thanks folks!

you need a close up of 7991 - it appears to be a krieghoff magazine - if so, its $250 cheap - $500 retail

Erick's magazine #7591 is indeed a rare and valuable Kreighoff magazine (good eyes Ed!). Pete Ebbink, who maintains a photographic data base of these magazines, has permitted me to post photos of #7469 and #7661 for comparison purposes.

The grips appear to be some type of aftermarket smooth plastic. I wouldn't pay more than $25.00 for them, and then only if they were a good fit.

Norm, I am a bit puzzled - why would you need Pete's permission? He scours the net and then takes any picture he wants, he does not care about copyright.

Are the grips you show wood or a plastic material?

It's hard to judge much about them from the photo. Please show detailed photos of the fronts and backs taken in shaded sunlight (without a flash).

What color are they?

Hi Ed , Although photos of HK magazines #7469 and #7661 may have been on the internet I wouldn't have been able to find them if Pete hadn't taken the time and trouble to collect and sort them. His photographic data base is a valuable resource for Kreighoff collectors.
Best regards, Norm

For discussion purposes, does that magazine base graphic have a nickname??? As like 'droop eagle'; 'straight eagle'; etc...
