Default Opinions

I had made a post seeking information to verify authenticity. I received two post. One with a negative opinion he did not know the subject but still it was negative. Luckily the second opinion was by someone who knew the subject and saved my bacon. Without the second opinion I could have been put in jeopardy, just because the first poster gave a negative opinion instead of just remaining silent on something he should not have been commenting on.

No information is sometimes better then mis-information!

Please remember that all posts on this forum are OPINION, unless the post contains a cite for a published reference. Sometimes a negative opinion response can be just as helpful... it all depends on the subject matter and the context. Opinions are like elbows... everyone has at least a couple.

I'd rather have more opinions, it is very difficult to answer most questions from a picture.

Some "things" are black and white and can be found in references; as said above the rest is pretty much "just" opinion.

To your specific question, sometimes we miss posts with questions, or intend to research and go back and answer, CRS strikes and it doesn't happen.

Sometimes I pm a link to a post to several guys whose opinion I'd really like to have.
