Thanks for the pictures. Well, your Mauser made P.08, 1940 42, SN 1154n seems to be equipped with a Haenel magazine, called the type 4 which was made by Haenel in 1941. The keys are the fxo, the SE37 and the upside down P.08. This type was the last made by Haenel in Suhl. Clearly not correct to the gun even before you look at the suffix. As I mentioned before, the correct magazine for this pistol is the Haenel Type 3, which has the 122 manufacturer code rather than the fxo. Also made by Haenel in Suhl. Hope this helps. John |

You have a scarse variation of the 40/42, which was issued with Kreighoff Brown Bakelite grips. Everything but the magazine looks correct and original to this pistol.

Nice Luger, too bad you used the flashlight of your camera, pictures should be taken preferably without any flash, and in the natural light on an outcast day.
