Hello to all! I hope all of you have a wonderful holiday season and into the new year... but, still, there is time to get some work done before Santa comes.... I have a small request for all the members, that have one or more Luger 32 round snail drums.. I need a cross section of measurements of:
The distance from the top front edge of the front spine, down to the TOP of the mag catch notch? Please measure it with a caliper, digital, dial, or vernier.... (I can't even remember how to run those things?... ![]() ![]() gctomeks@msn.com |

I'd call it from the notch to the front edge, i.e. the rounded part or front of the mag body section. What I'd call a spine is on the side, and varies depending on how much it is rolled over. Don

Excellent info guys! It's starting to look like 1.100" to 1.110" is the current preferred range?.... A couple of them less, not many of the ones I measured have been more than the above range.... Thanks to all, please continue if you have data to add! Thanks and best to all, til...lat'r...GT.....

GT,
If you err to the long side, one can always adjust the notch up, with a needle file! Tough to fill it in if it is too high, causing the mag to ride low in the receiver. Just my $.02.

Hi Don, as you well know, too little is a killer, and too little would definitely create problems such as we have been battling for quite awhile!....
