Default A Sad Day

Last night we lost one of the 'Good Guy'. Frank Manders

An encyclopedia of knowledge, and always ready to share.

From his wife, Alice.

'Wanted you to know that Frank passed last night. He fought a hard battle to the end, but just had too many health issues to deal with.

Frank was one of the most knowledgeable people I have ever met, a real gentleman.

Another friend gone, very sad

Default My prayers with his family....

This is very sad news indeed! I've known Frank for about a dozen years, and he has always been a very kind and decent man! Not to mention a great friend! As good as they come on ethics and principles.... I was lucky enough to share in his passion for Lugers and P.38's and I will remember him as one of the best gentlemen I've ever known.... My prayers and condolences to Alice.... best to all, til....lat'r.....GT

A wonderful, true gentleman, and a person I will sorely miss. Many fond memories of our communications over the past many years. My thoughts and prayers to Alice and the family. He will be missed..

One of our most if not the most knowledgeable Mauser experts on our forum.

I will be grateful always for his personal friendship and hospitality. I was blessed to share lunch with him last summer when I was in Phoenix for only 1 day... It will be cherished memory now.

May God grant Alice comfort in her loss... Rest in Peace my friend.

Indeed..time stands still for no man. We all have an hourglass with only so much sand in it. Frank Manders was a good man. 7 Friends I lost last year..amazing how their widow's have held up and gone on living. Women are tough. They never forget but life is for the living. Go with God my Friend..it was good to know you.
