About the old reliable 1911s

Probably you in the USA already know this.
I hope it passes... although perhaps it won't fly under the current administration but many US 1911 enthusiasts can dream.

yes, been a big deal on the CMP forums. It 'might' happen, as it a change of wording to their charter. If allowed, they could sell pistols. Many folks say it won't happen, but if a change of wording, it could happen, plus it supposedly was in another bill (gov't funding)

It'll never happen.....Glorious Leader would rather the Iranians have an A bomb, than you have a gov't issued 1911.

This would be a congressional change to their charter and if it worked out, it would be inside of another bill

and PLEASE don't get political on us...

It was introduced as an amendment to the Defense Funding bill now working it's way through congress.
