Recently, there was a news saying CCP leader Xi visited a southern China province. Back in 1935, his father, along with 30,000 other communist soldiers, fighted nationalist and local warlord in this province for 3 months on the road of famous "Long March" -- 80,000 men and women left southern China and marched 6,000 miles to the north. 8,000 arrived destination (biggest loss came from crossing a big river, lost 50,000).
After visiting those historical sites, he told other people, "Should have our party and government officials remember how hard it was to setup new China. Central government will setup a budget of 100 million, sending 10,000 officials re-walking along old long march path". Probably due to the image of today's CCP is very different from 80 years ago. So many government officials are so corrupted and hated by so many. After hearing this news, many people expressed "sending 10,000 officials long march again? We are very willing to play nationalist and warlord's role, no payment is OK. We guarantee none of them can arrive northern China alive". |
