Were ALL 1936 S/42 firing pins, grips, and hold-opens serial number marked?
I have read that some parts were not factory marked. This can be confusing to say the least. Thanks for any and all answers. Last edited by paul7177; 10-15-2014 at 12:38 PM. |

All firing pins yes, all hold opens yes, But all grips no. Is there a specific year you a researching?
As far as Grips there are some patterns as far as numbered goes. I have never seen a 1936 with numbered grips. Mike Z. |

Some K,G and 36's do have serial numbers on the grips. Doesn't seem to be any pattern just some with and others without. Bill

Did the hold open and firing pin have other markings in addition to the serial number?
