Default S code Krieghoff Luger

S code Krieghoff Luger serial number 3617, with capture certificate. Comments and suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi Michael, Thanks for the exhaustive photo display of your beautiful S code HK, I've finally met someone who takes more photos than I do! A couple of questions, I note that you show two firing pins in photo #53, one seems to be HK, the other appears unmarked? The gun appears to have been fired very little, if at all, I assume the bore is mint?
Your photos show two Krieghoff idiosyncrasies that are rarely discussed, the absence of witness marks and their practice of bluing the front 20% of the receiver rails only, leaving the balance "in the white".
Regards, Norm

The gun came to me without a holdopen, fitted with an unnumbered replacement firing pin. I bought and flipped a couple of refinished Lugers to add an HK-proofed holdopen and complement the kit with an HK-proofed firing pin. The bore has no discernible wear.
