Quite a few places in St Louis and Metro was hit last night. So far no deaths have been reported. 5-7inches of MORE rain was dumped on rivers already flooded, the Mississippi, Missouri Rivers keeping rising. 2 1/2 inches fell in one hour.

Just wanted to share the good news with the forum that I just called Tom Heller, and even though the destruction hit his county, Tom reports that both he and his property escaped any serious damage during the Tornado… Worst damage he had was some water damage that required him to clean about 100 magazines...
He had not checked the forum in a couple of days, and didn't realize we would be worried about him... Stay healthy Tom... you would be missed! We can all rest easy... Please keep the people of St. Charles in your prayers... -John |

John, THanks for your concern. No damage to home/work shop, just a bit of leakage to my storage. I hope that we didn't have any members hurt or homeless in the OK City area, that got it a lot worse than the St.Louis area. I hear that there is another storm headed our way, and they announched that yesterday was the start of Hurricane season. I might have been better off in the PRK (Kalifornia) with the earthquakes, mudslides and wild fires. I hope that you all fare as well as I have, SO FAR. TH
