I've had this Iranian stock since the 60's, have never found informatiion on them. It's in pretty good shape, no serial, but screws are right, flush with the metal straps, no gashes, but a couple of minor scratches. When was it made, how many???

Hi Stanley, Iranian stocks are numbered in the wood. You can see the Farsi numbers in the second photo. They were supplied by Mauser with the Persian Artilleries in the 1930's.

1000 were made. Mauser used left over stocks from the DWM.
