A new book of has been published using recently discovered first-hand interviews made with Russian soldiers after the battle. The interviews and information were suppressed at the time.

I was also interested to see that Der Spiegel has an English language edition...Has anyone tried it??? (Well, Dana of course, but anyone else???) ![]() Is it free or do you have to pay for the downloads??? The iPhone app edition...

I just finished this one on the same battle. Its a novel but all the details and characters were based on interviews from survivors. It was written in 1957.
