watching Hitchcock tv show last night on comcast..."Memo from Purgatory"... at about the 30 min point, one of the tough kids in the "club" fired a luger into a mattress....emptied a magazine and the hold-open held the toggle.............

Observed actor Dan Duryea holding a stocked Luger carbine in the picture, Ball Of Fire made in about 1941. Also in the same film, an unknown actor with a stocked Broomhandle.

Guys,
My wife thinks I'm crazy for spotting a Luger or P.38 in a movie. I always stop the movie and go back to verify, after I ask if anyone else saw the weapon. I may still be crazy, but at least I'm not alone. Thanks for the heads up. Mark |
