Default Marine Corps birthday

As an old Marine, I want to wish the Corps a grand celebration of their founding and also good wishes to all Marines, past and present.

In 1982 I was in DC for the VN Wall dedication.
On the 9th I was at Arlington and a bunch of Marines were policing up the area around the Iwo Jima Statue.
There was a radio program on and they were interviewing the Sculptor.

The radio guy asked him if there was anything he would change or so over.

The sculptor replied that he had been out there many times and that he would change nothing.
He had "done a good job and was proud of it."

No argument from me.

Neil..The Marines were and are a proud fighting force with a history none can match.

Happy Birthday to all of you Marines..from an old Paratrooper.
