Default Enough to get one smoking ...

A nice addition to the 1930s DWM lighter I bought a few years ago. A brass, nickle plate, BKIW / DWM ashtray from somewhere between 1922-1936.

It's been a while, but I was able to find another DWM marketing tool.

This time it is a little desk calendar, brass / nickle.

Interesting about the calendar. It came from an antiques dealer who is based only a few miles away from the small town of Bad Homburg. After the destruction of the Quand / DWM/ Mauser HQ in Berlin (Dorotheenstrasse) by allied bombings, the family retreated to Bad Homburg and settled there, while also setting up their new HQ.

After the fall of the Berlin Wall, the Quandts started a law suit against the state in order to get the property in Berlin back. Nowadays, the foundation called the Herbert Quandt Stiftung, is based in the Dorotheenstrasse in Berlin again.
