Default Million-dollar chip ... fixer

If I remember correctly, some talented member was doing a repair of the common grip chip ..... I have a set of otherwise nice grips with the chip missing aft of the safety .... is that a reasonable repair , compared to the cost of replacement grips ?

The grips are not original to the gun nor the era .... but they are at least small-checkered and clean.

Would it be a bad idea to fix a small chip on a matched collector grade 1940 42?

Not three different people. Everyone is recommending the same person.

Thanks for the compliments guys! As some of you know, a couple of years ago I had to fire the Armadillos that did my checkering due to excessive partying and not tending to business!

Subsequently, I hired this group of girls to do the checkering for me:

Well, it looks like I am going to have to let the girls go and rehire the Armadillos. They are slacking off on the work and just wanting to have sex all the time. At 74 I am too old for this, and it is wearing me out keeping all four happy every day!

They might not clean houses or do windshields, but they are great at hijacking ...... threads.
