Eric,
This is simple to put back in. Simply take a flat head screw driver and compress the spring a bit as you work the trigger's axle pin into the hole in the frame. make sure the spring clears the hump in the frame and pops into the recess behind the hump. I've removed triggers dozens of times and it is really a simple operation. |

Look at one of your other Lugers and you will see how simple it is.

Jerry,
It is a police Luger...the hole is for the removed magazine safety.

Eric.....never use a screw driver as it will scratch the blue....use an "orange" stict or some like hard wood tool to compress the spring.....

Is This Right
It seems diffferent! One real problem, the takedown lever on the other luger seems to get stuck, wont go all the way in all the way like my test luger!. What a 'mal au cue'!

You have it exactly right!
Some takedown levers hang up a bit on the retaining spring or have enough play to not perfectly center as you push them in. Simply wiggle it a bit as you put pressure on it to seat home, it will seat completely eventually. Try to do this while looking at the retaining hole on the opposite side of the frame. If the lever is not perfectly centered, you will be able to adjust by looking at the lever's end through this hole. |

Eric,
Looks right, but check behind the trigger to make sure the spring is straight. It might need a nudge. Also on the TD lever, I've had some to tight that I had so push down on the side of the lever as it went in. A bamboo chop stick is perfect for all of these adjustment... Eric,
I live in Stuart, just south of you, the local gun shop you speak of has borrowed some of my tools when working on your guns in the past. send me a pm and I'll give you my phone number and I'll be happy to put your Luger back togather and show you how at the sametime Jim

Richie, you'd think Eric used to be a engineer instead of a lawyer, they always like to take things apart
