About the 1911 45 ejection.

Browning designed this to eject at the 2 o'clock position. The ejector tension must be kept above 25 oz tension to function correctly. If it has a chamber that is rough or carboned the ejectors will jump off. On our competion 1911's in 45 acp we lower the ejectiom port approx.110 and run 30 oz of tension. Have shot over 5000 rounds without any adjustment, but do keep the chamber clean.
