Default Soviet grip plates

Any idea what these are worth? Are they rare or common? They seem to be in a good condition.

Not common but also not rare... They were on some of the Russian capture Lugers imported about 10 years ago...that were reportedly used the the East Germans.

They are the same high quality bakelite that was used by the Germans, but not at all comfortable in my hand... I used to see them for $10 or less on ebay back then. I have no idea what they might be worth today...$25? $45? who knows? I think I have a pair somewhere that somebody gifted to me...

It is possible that they were produced on the same equipment as the German production, but they ruined the checkering pattern with their "improvement" of straight lines... IMHO

I saw a pair for sale about a month ago for $20. I have a set on my RC Luger and I love them, very comfy and I get a solid grip.

I bought a pair about 9 - 12 months ago for $35, IIRC...

Very well made; no warping; no bubbles; nice shine...
