Wayne8661, the luger with the dished toggles is interesting. Would like to see more photos of it.

Thats an enviable collection if I ever saw one. Many collectors would kill for some of those items. Thanks for showing.

DrBuster the dished toggle lugers are both listed on this forum. The one is may fat barrel which I had to have restored and the other is a 1900 AE that I am debating whether or not to restore.

Walter, thanks for responding. Of course I remember THAT fat barrel! Good luck with that one and the 1900 AE.

Wow, very nice collection!! I am very impressed!

I'm a little surprised that you haven't done more to display them and show them off. I'd have built a special cabinet or shelving unit just for such a prized and well rounded collection.

Awesome! Thanks for sharing...

Sweet! Man, I wish I had better wood working skills but, as an amatuer, I'm probably a lot more likely to work on my own stuff than you are, LOL!

I'm doing one now, in fact. As soon as I can I'll post some pictures of the shelving I'm making. Been working on it all weekend. I need to get something build quickly 'cuz it's getting dangerous in that room with those rifles laying all over the place. Something is gunna get damaged if I don't get it done soon.

Good luck with your project. Please post some pictures when finished. I might thin out some of my stuff so I can get a new luger fund stashed away.

Ya, you need another Luger or two, IMHO. But I'd hate to have to sell off any of that nice shwag for it.

I have the opposite problem, myself. I have very little in the way of accesories of the correct period. I've got an armband, a medal (reproduction ribbon), some holsters and a couple of original ammo, but nothing like what you have. I doubt I'll get a uniform or flag but a nice hat and some daggers would be sweet.

Wayne,
Should you ever decide to sell the helmet that is circled in your pic, I'd appreciate you contacting me....

Cheers,
Bob.

Ahhh ,the M40 sd. That is a very nice helmet it would be hard to upgrade this one. I am not in the market to sell but if I do ,Ill let you know. But I might be tempted to trade for an early luger.

Thanks, I'm grateful......I'd be happy to work a deal, if I had more than the one lonely Luger that I currently own.....
