Default Lugers

Hi Guys

I might be selling my Lugers, or trading them for Colts.(sorry, that is my first love) I am not going to try to figure out what they are worth, and put a price on each one, because everyone will know about what they are worth. Please no bottom dwelers. All are original in all regards and all have matching numbers except mage, and one has 2 matching mags. There are holsters with all but one+ extra mag and tool. All are 90 to 98% except for the death head which is as expected 60% or so. I will take trades for high quality Colts 1911,2 and WW1 revolvers. If there is one you are interested in make an offer and if it is close we will talk. But even if you don't want to but I would like your thoughts on what the whole collection would be worth.

Thanks Kurt

Hello Kurt,I have several 45 autos in original condition,I would like to see a price list and some photos of what you may have for sale or trade. My pistols go back to 1913 and I am a collector of all types of German and U.S. military.I am not a member of the luger forum, those guys are a little too worried for me,I believe in free speech even if it upsets people and apparently the guys on the forum are a little worried about what they are allowed to say say,I enjoy much of the info. I get from them but I just cant take the time to worry about all their politically correct rules. If you could send me a list maybe we can do some business. Thanks again

Ok, just for the record..there are no Politically Correct Cops here in this forum..there are some people who like to exchange information, talk about Lugers and generally share their knowledge and interest in Lugers. I guess the one differnce that sets aside the 'member' and the casual 'lurker' is decency and common sense. When people get out of line it is our duty and responsibility (as people, first) to keep some type of order so we can continue to enjoy this wealth of info. For the anarchists out there who still think it is OK to shout "FIRE!!" in a crowded theater, you are right, you are NOT members of this forum. It is an open forum, albeit moderated, and the few rules we have here are just common decency. I am not the owner or webmaster here, but I support all of his decisions and happen to think that this is probably the best gun forum on the web. I, for one, would like to keep it that way. By the way....

"Take me to your Luger!"

Default Well Alan...

judging from your comments youappear to enjoy a good free-for-all, so perhaps sites like gunandknife.com are more your style. I'm glad you gain something from the good folks here at the Luger Forum, and likewise, I appreciate your lurking as opposed to participation. If you ever change your point point of view, you are more than welcome, unfortunately, anarchy does not reign here. Hope you are yours have a very safe and joyous holiday season.

We have tried this forum both ways, and the limiting of combative discourse and personal attacks is one thing that makes this forum unique and especially enjoyable. We can agree or disagree but be gentlemen. A lot of people must like it too, look at our list of user profiles, and all the terrific sections of information. Users of our forum really are not experiencing all the great aspects of this forum until they not only use the message board, but check out all the sections listed in the left hand side menu. There are FEW sites on the internet that offer so much information on one firearm. Thanks Dok for your terrific work. Thor

After hanging around here a couple of years I always took this loose association as having a gentleman's-and ladies- agreement to skip the small stuff like personal attacks and general unpleasant behavior and concentrate on the subject of Luger appreciation-Hell we've all seen that other stuff already-I want to hear about Lugers.
